A one-of-a-kind snoring solution, the Smart Nora allows you to breathe easier and leave snoring as a thing of the past. The intuitive Smart Nora doesn’t require you to wear anything on your body and makes minimal noise, resulting in deep, sound sleep. Since the Smart Nora only has two main parts (the inflatable insert and the Pebble Snoring Detection System), you can easily pack it up and take it on-the-go!
To use, place your Smart Nora inflatable insert under your go-to pillow, and the device will do the rest of the work. When the Smart Nora detects snoring, it will efficiently and quietly raise your head to naturally stop your snoring. You can move freely with the Smart Nora and sleep in your favorite position.

SomniFix Mouth Sleep Strips
Many people turn to a chinstrap to keep their mouth from opening while getting some much-deserved sleep. While a chinstrap can be effective for some people, many find them uncomfortable and claustrophobic. If that's music to your ears, enter in the SomniFix Sleep Strips. SomniFix Strips create a seal over your mouth, keeping it from opening while you sleep. When you don't snore at night, you can leave the dry mouth, sore throat, and nasal congestion in the past.
SomniFix can be easily disengaged, making the strips easy to remove when you're ready. SomniFix can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer by promoting nose breathing. When you breathe through your nose, your relaxation response called parasympathetic activation kicks in and helps you stay in deep sleep longer. Another bonus of breathing through your nose? Breathing through your nose increases nitric oxide production, which acts as an added layer of defense by increasing your immunity and preventing bacteria found in the air from entering your body. The SomniFix will help keep the sickness away!
Ideal For:
- People who want to stop mouth breathing during sleep
- Preventing dry mouth
- Boosting your immunity
- Achieving restful, deep sleep
- Traveler-friendly
- Anyone looking for a chinstrap alternative

Best anti-snoring device for side sleepers
CPAPology Sleep Noodle
If you often find yourself snoring or having apnea events while sleeping on your back, you may benefit from positional therapy and sleeping on your side! Positional therapy involves finding a different sleeping position to improve your rest quality. But when it comes to which sleeping position is best, sleeping on your side often takes the top spot because gravity works to naturally open your airway. However, many people sleep on their backs, which is a position where gravity works against you by closing your airway. If you sleep on your back, you'll snore more, and you may struggle to breathe.
In comes the Sleep Noodle, which helps keep you in the side sleeping position, opening up your airway. You position the Sleep Noodle on the small part of your back so that as you roll over, the Sleep Noodle will position you off of your back. You will then naturally gravitate toward your side. The Sleep Noodle is made of breathable mesh to maintain comfort and keep you from getting the night sweats.
Curb snoring and experience the benefits of positional therapy with the Sleep Noodle. Make it a part of your nighttime routine with no scheduled replacement parts needed!
Ideal For:
- No prescription required
- Those looking to try positional therapy
- Very easy to set up with no batteries or cords
- Travel-friendly

Best EPAP therapy anti-snoring device
Optipillow Nasal Pillow EPAP Mask
EPAP therapy uses the power of your own breathing to naturally open your airway and eliminate snoring. The Optipillow Nasal Pillow Mask is cleared by the FDA to treat snoring.
The Optipillow Mask looks like a typical nasal pillow CPAP mask. However, it works differently by foregoing the hose and machine and instead, using EPAP therapy to create the pressure you need to open your airway through a patented venting system. Nevertheless, the Optipillow Mask is not a treatment for sleep apnea.
While wearing the mask, you'll breathe in normally. As you exhale, the vents close, forming a smaller opening for the outgoing air to pass through and creating the pressure you need to keep your airway open.
With your airway open, the soft tissues of your mouth and throat will vibrate less, kicking snoring to the curb. The Optipillow Mask will help you get more restful and productive sleep, allowing you to wake up refreshed and ready to face the day.
Ideal For:
- No prescription required
- People who breathe through the nose
- Back or side sleepers
- Those looking to try epap therapy

Editor's choice for snoring solutions
Anti-Snoring Belt
The Best-In-Rest Anti-Snoring Belt is an advanced positional therapy device that gently vibrates whenever you roll onto your back to shift you back on to your side. It's only about the size of a pager. Over time, the Anti-Snoring Belt will train you to sleep on your side, reducing snoring along the way. When you return to your side, gravity helps to ensure your airway is kept open, resulting in less snoring. This Anti-Snoring Belt is special because other positional Obstructive Sleep Apnea devices require a doctor's prescription. Comparable to your cell phone vibrating, this device is quiet and gentle enough to not disturb your partner.
Ideal For:
- No prescription required
- Easy to use
- Battery powered
- Travel-friendly
- Those looking to try positional therapy

What Causes Snoring?
While you are asleep, the soft tissues of the mouth and throat relax. When you breathe, air moves past these tissues, causing vibrations that we recognize as snoring. Snoring can often be treated positionally by laying on your side or through the use of anti-snoring devices if sleep apnea isn't the root cause of your snoring.
Here are the traditional causes of snoring:
- Blocked Nasal Airways: If you get allergies in the spring or fall, you may find that you snore because your nose is congested as a response to the increased amount of allergens in the air.
- Poor Muscle Tone in Your Throat: The soft tissues in your throat can relax too much, causing your airflow to be obstructed and increasing the likelihood of snoring.
- Sleeping on Your Back: Sleeping on your back can pull the soft tissues of your throat closed because of gravity.
- Sleep Deprivation: When falling asleep after being sleep deprived, your mouth and throat muscles may be extremely relaxed, causing you to snore.
Final Thoughts
Finding the best anti-snoring device for you can prepare you as you fight back against snoring. Promoting nose breathing helps you achieve the deep sleep you deserve while also increasing your immunity.
