I do agree that the current isn't very good either.

I wonder if it'd fall into less Fan Myopia if we used names themed after genres rather than specific songs. There's a couple examples on the page, although I'm not sure where to start looking for good pictures.

Not just genres, but elements of music too. Crypt Of The Necrodancer comes to my mind.

This deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball.

I like the ones in 15 best. 15.2 has the advantage of having a title on a sheet music background, but it also has that items row that is cropped awkwardly. 15.1 at least has a better looking crop.

12 is also fine. All the others are too busy.

What I was going for with the crop there was showing the Treble and Bass clef to really sell it being a music themed game.

If you want just a crop with the names then that can also be done with that:
